I’m a Sunshine Coast girl, that’s the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. It’s where I get my ideas and inspiration, and where Dusty gets her chance to prove herself as a PI.
It’s a family tourist destination, not the most likely environment for crime, but I like to imagine there’s more going on than you see on the surface. 
It might look like the perfect place to pull up a deck chair and pull out my crime novel, soak up some sun, and feel the sand between your toes. But once you get into it, and see it from Dusty’s point of view, you might be cautious about going into the water.
That’s my job, to show you what I see, and to have some fun along the way.
