In today's Sunshine Coast Daily novice PI Dusty Dexter got her first publicity. The continuous crime novel begins on Monday, Febraury 7 in the Daily and will run Monday to Friday.

Daily fix for crime lovers

February 7, remember the date. That's the debut, the publishing date for the first episode of a continuous crime novel featuring Dusty Dexter, novice PI.

Crime fiction lovers will be able to get their daily fix with Dusty, Monday to Friday, as she solves her first murder - double murder, actually, Dusty doesn’t do things by halves.

Check back and I’ll tell you where you will find Dusty so you can follow her as she tracks down the bad guys.

Dusty Dexter PI - her first case

Dusty Dexter’s a novice PI, but she’s not going to let that stop her cracking wide open an international drug smuggling ring. She doesn’t play by the rules, ok she doesn’t know the rules, but she’s got smarts. And she’s prepared to take chances, something her boss Red, an ex-cop with a secret, doesn’t understand. Neither does Hank, the hunky senior sergeant. Will a zap with a taser put him off Dusty for good? With friend Janet Jones, an obsessive triathlete on track for a PB, she tracks down the bad guys from Mooloolaba to Vanuatu. Of course, it’s not all smooth sailing at home or out on the Pacific, and they have to take their chances with the sharks, in and out of the water.
